home | services | asset finance Asset Finance Asset finance is when a lender rigorously assesses the borrower's credit application on their credit worthiness, and on the strength of the asset offered as security, without any (or very limited) reference to the borrower's actual financial strength. Loan set-up costs, early termination fees, and interest rates are usually higher with this form of finance than with conforming credit. CLS will only pursue this form of finance at the request of the borrower, when the borrower has exhausted all other means.
